Wednesday, February 22nd Cider 101 Class: 6pm to 8pm
This class will focus on how Cider is made and the difference Organic Farming makes on the final product. We will be sampling ciders from Scrumpys and Thistly Cross, each paired with an appetizer. We will have two speakers this class, Bruce Wright with Scrumpys and a rep. from Thistly Cross. Cost is $30.00 per person, group discounts available. Call for reservations 919-467-7880

Class at Wine and Design: 6:30- 8:30
Sip…a wine store will be hosting a wine tasting before Wine and Design starts a painting class. The class project is called Pour me a Splash of Wine Please! You can choose to paint red wine or white wine in your "wine pour painting". It is a beautiful painting. From 5:00 to 6:15 anyone who has registered for the Wine and Design class can enjoy a free wine tasting at Sip…a wine store. Sip…will offer you a discount on bottles to take to your painting class at Wine and Design.

Sunday, February, 26th 2 pm to 5pm. Oyster & Wine Fest!.
Sip…a wine store, Dock to Door, The Clever Vine, Sour Grapes Distributing and Centerba Distributing would like to invite you to our 1st annual Oyster & Wine Fest. Dock to door is bringing the raw Oysters, Clams and Smoked Fish. Sour Grapes and Centerba will be pouring their best wines that pair with seafood and Sip…a wine store will be providing you with plenty of festive fun. We will have live music and brief presentations on Sustainable fishing and wine and seafood pairings. We will also have a Goat cheese tasting. And the best part of it all is you can buy the wine to take home and order the shellfish to be delivered.
There are two ticket prices: $40.00 will provide you with 12 raw oysters and clam, smoked fish and goat cheese samples. Wine samples included.
For $20.00 you can choose to either sample only wine or only seafood.

Our Wine Dinner Series is back. This month’s theme, Chilean Wines with Indian Cuisine. We will be featuring the wines of Ventisquero Winery. Four wines will be poured and paired with a locally sourced 4 course dinner. Dinner is $18.00 dollars per person; tax and gratuity are not included.

Women 2 Women is a group of eco-minded women that support each other in finding new and exciting ways to go greener. Each month they host a new speaker. This month’s speaker is April Schlanger with Sip...a wine store. She will speak about running a green business and about her love of eco-friendly wine. Friday, March 2nd, Off site charity event Epona & Oak 6pm to 10 pm:
If you enjoy culture and charity, join Sip…as we help Epona and Oak raise money for Hospice of Wake County. This is a First Friday event, local galleries and will be open late so you can stroll the streets of downtown
The event runs from 6 pm to 10 pm and Epona and Oak will also have local DJ Dave Hogan and some local nibbles too.

Wednesday, March 7th: Chase the Grape: Starts at 6pm in front of Inside Out Sport
Join like minded runners and a few that walk. Run 5 miles and then end around 7pm at Sip...for a short wine tastings. A great way to celebrate your effort and to socialize. We also provide light snacks. no registration required, juts show up at Inside Out Sports across the parking lot from Sip... at 6pm. A recurring event, the first Wednesday of each month.
